Consul General Zha Liyou Meets with the Head of Techno India Group

On April 24, Consul General Zha Liyou met with Satyam Roychowdhury, President of Techno India Group and President of the Sister Nevidita University in the residence. Techno India Group Chief Operating Officer Surojit Biswas, General Manager of International Affairs Summauli Pyne were present.

Consul General Zha briefed the guests about the 2nd Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation and recent development of exchanges between China and Eastern India. He said that Techno India Group is a well-known education and training institute in India and it has done a lot of work to promote cultural and people-to-people exchanges between China and India. Consul General Zha hoped the institute could integrate high-quality resources, continue to strengthen cooperation with Chinese universities, and make greater contributions to the healthy development of China-India relations. The Consulate General would be willing to work with the group to promote quality and efficiency in education exchanges between China and Eastern India. The Consul General also invited Techno India Group to attend the Second China-South Asia Cooperation Forum.

Roy Chowdhury thanked Consul General Zha for the invitation. He gave an introduction on cooperation between Techno India Group and Chinese universities, and expressed hopes to maintain close contact with the Consulate General and enhance pragmatic cooperation in the areas of Chinese language training, cooperative education and skills training.

Consul General Zha's wife Zheng Huiqun, Deputy Consul General Yu Xiong and Consul Zhou Yaoyao attend the meeting.
