The two sides have also worked closely within the multilateral frameworks of the United Nations, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA), which has safeguarded common interests of both sides and promoted regional and world peace, stability and development. China is willing to make joint efforts with Kazakhstan and take the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties as an opportunity to fully implement the consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries and the agreements signed by both sides so as to push the comprehensive strategic partnership to a new level.
Kazakh Ambassador to China Nurlan Yermekbayev said after 20 years of development, bilateral relations have reached an unprecedented high level and have become an example of good-neighborly friendship, equality, mutual trust and win-win cooperation between neighbors. Bilateral cooperation in the areas of politics, economy, energy and humanities is fruitful and has effectively promoted the common development of the two countries. Kazakhstan cherishes its relations with China and is ready to carry forward the traditional friendship, deepen mutually beneficial cooperation with China and achieve new development of the Kazakh-Sino comprehensive strategic partnership.
