On March 26, 2009, Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Wang Guangya held talks in the Foreign Ministry with visiting Sudanese President's Envoy and Minister of Finance Awad Ahmed al-Jaz. Both sides exchanged views on bilateral ties and the issuance of arrest warrant to the Sudanese president by the International Criminal Court.
